The Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE), intends to establish, modern state of the art training centers called Pradhan Mantri Kaushal VIKAS YOJNA (PMKVY) The main implementation agency of these training centers is NSDC. These training centers aim to make vocational training aspirational in order to transform India into the skill capital of the world.
One of the main aims of PMKVY courses is to standardize job related skill development. The MSDE aims at setting up skill development training centers in every district.
The objective of this Skill Certification Scheme is to enable a large number of Indian youth to take up industry-relevant skill training that will help them in securing a better livelihood. Individuals with prior learning experience or skills will also be assessed and certified under Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL).
We are now going to establish Training Centres of PMKVY 3.0 in Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand and Ladakh.
